GAS PRICES PUSH HIGHER

CAMARILLO, Calif. (AP) -- A survey says the national average price for regular gasoline rose nearly 16 cents in the past two weeks.

The average price of self-serve regular gasoline on Friday was $3.47 a gallon, mid-grade was at $3.59 and premium was $3.70. That's all according to the Lundberg Survey of 7,000 stations nationwide released Sunday.

Regular is up 60 cents from a year ago.

The national average price for a gallon of diesel is $4.21. That's $1.24 more than a year ago.

Of the cities surveyed, the cheapest price is in Newark, N.J., where a gallon of regular cost $3.21, on average. The highest was in San Francisco at $3.88.
WTF!!! IS GOING ON, ARE THEY GOING TO BLEED US DRY OR WHAT??!!

PULL HIS PASSPORT

I don't think a former President should be involved in going to foreign countries and
meeting with known terrorist leaders and trying to do their own agenda.
I think he is misguided, unaware, or stupid to pursue this course of action.
We think his passport should be pulled as, apparently, does someone in Congress.
Go home Jimmy,
Sit on the porch and relish in your history and leave the rest of us alone.

COULD THERE BE A BIGGER MORON

JERUSALEM (Reuters) - Israeli leaders shunned former U.S. President Jimmy Carter during a visit because of his plans to meet Hamas and Israel's secret service declined to assist U.S. agents guarding him, U.S. sources said on Monday.

"They're not getting support from local security," one of the sources said, on condition of anonymity.

An American source described as "unprecedented" the lack of Shin Bet cooperation with the U.S. Secret Service, which protects all current and former U.S. presidents, as well as Israeli leaders when they visit the United States.

Carter, who brokered Israel's first peace treaty with an Arab neighbor, Egypt, signed in 1979, met Israel's largely ceremonial president, Shimon Peres, on Sunday. But Israel's political leadership, including Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, steered clear of the Nobel Peace Prize winner.

The former U.S. leader has angered the Israeli government over plans to meet Hamas' top leader, Khaled Meshaal, in Syria, and for describing Israeli policy in the occupied Palestinian territories as "a system of apartheid" in a 2006 book.
He is such a Moron that I cannot even give him that name as to make other "morons" feel slighted...sigh.
GO RETIRE YOU MONKEY!!!!!

HILLARY SIDESTEPS AGAIN

SCRANTON, Pennsylvania (CNN) – After a weekend spent making direct appeals to gun owners and church goers, Hillary Clinton said Sunday a query about the last time she fired a gun or attended church services "is not a relevant question in this debate” over Barack Obama’s recent comments on small town Americans.

“We can answer that some other time,” Clinton said at a press conference held in a working class neighborhood here. “This is about what people feel is being said about them. I went to church on Easter. I mean, so?” (SOURCE)
So she can claim all she wants to about being a gun advocate and church going woman but if you ask her when and where she did either of those events she side steps again....as usual.
Screw her. We are more intelligent than she ever thought we could be.

Parents Argue Over Which Gang 4-Year-Old Son Should Join

A couple can't agree on which gang their 4-year-old toddler should join.

A fight about the decision led to a public disturbance with the father's arrest. Joseph Manzanares went to the video store where his girlfriend worked, threatened to kill her and knocked over several video displays, police told KMGH Denver.

Police arrested Manzanares at his home, Commerce City police Sgt. Joe Sandoval told KMGH Denver.

The girlfriend told authorities they were fighting over which gang their son should join. The girlfriend, who is black, is a member of the Crips while Manzanares, who is Hispanic, belongs to the Westside Ballers.

"They have different ideas on how the baby should be raised," Sandoval said. "Basically, she said they cannot agree on which gang the baby would 'claim.'" (source)
These parents are complete "morons."

ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS TAKE ADVANTAGE

(CBS) It was 5 a.m. and CBS News national correspondent Byron Pitts is with a woman who is nine months pregnant. She's rushed to a south Texas hospital to undergo a C-section - a $4,700 medical procedure that won't cost her a dime. She qualifies for emergency Medicaid.

She gave birth to a healthy, 8 1/2 pound baby boy - born in America. His Mexican mother gave him an American name: Eliot.

Eliot is one of an estimated 300,000 children of illegal immigrants born in the United States every year, according to the Pew Hispanic Center. They're given instant citizenship because they are born on U.S. soil, which makes it easier for their parents to become U.S. citizens.

That's because those babies can eventually sponsor their parents - when they turn 21 years old.
(SOURCE)
The woman in the article was so blatantly open about how they just come here and take advantage of our resources that it even stunned me!!

"Do many women in Mexico make the choice to have their children in the United States?" Pitts asked.

"Yes," she said through a translator. "I know people who have done that. Things are much better here in the U.S. because they help children so much more."

It's a "better" life ... that American taxpayers help pay for.

Where have I been?

I have been a little busy with new changes in my personal life that includes a new job.
It also includes moving from DFW to the Temple area.
The missus wants a Tornado Shelter and I have been researching that for her.
I am from Arizona so I don't worry about a Tornado as we don't have them there...lol.
Anyway I hope to be back blogging soon after the move.
